• Patient population includes cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical cases,
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM,
• Weekends required only during on-call rotations,
• Call requirements include 1 day per week and approximately 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs,
• Floating within scope of practice within the facility, including to the Main OR as needed,
• No alternate shifts or special scheduling requests are permitted, Job Requirements • Active GA or compact RN license required,
• One of the following certifications required: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA), NBSTSA, or NCCSA,
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required,
• Experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical settings required,
• Copies of all applicable certifications required for consideration,
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurse references not accepted) are highly preferred, Additional Information • This position requires a privileging process that takes approximately 120 days from contract signature before the start date - candidates should plan accordingly,
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Local candidates are accepted for this position,
• RTO is capped at 7 days for the assignment; no RTO is permitted during xywuqvp the first week,
• No holiday RTO will be accepted if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period; if three major holidays occur, one holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval - major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day,
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler,
• Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
