CT/Cat Scan Tech-Full Time - Req# 1691253

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and dependable CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high quality CT images while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires flexibility, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures according to established protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam. Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other health professionals. Maintain accurate records and proper documentation. Operate and maintain CT equipment in accordance with safety standards. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience): ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced certification in CT (CT certified) Valid Florida State License Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred Current BLS certification Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of Cross-Sectional Anatomy and basic understanding of Physiology Preferred Experience: Prior experience in hospital or trauma setting CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and the hospital. Works with supervisor/manager and other members of section or department to promote a harmonious work environment. Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Answers telephones in a prompt and courteous manner. Displays concern and provides assistance or explains procedures as appropriate to callers or in face-to-face situations. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
