Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week) May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift Uses Epic for clinical documentation Requirements Active RN license in Colorado or compact license required BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department specialty required ASN required, BSN preferred Epic charting experience required Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including ongoing collection and assessment of health data Provide patient and family health teaching and counseling Deliver therapy and treatment directly to patients or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Former permanent staff must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-744208.
