Our client, Oceanside Builders, a builder of high-end custom homes in mid-Coast Maine, is seeking a highly skilled carpenter who takes pride in doing exceptional work and values craftsmanship above shortcuts. Oceanside’s projects focus on exceptional quality where attention to detail, thoughtful execution, and pride in the finished product are the standard. They are seeking a carpenter who still enjoys stepping back at the end of the day and appreciating the work that was built. This is a hands-on role for someone who sets the tone on a job site through skill, professionalism, and respect for the trade. What You’ll Do: Perform high-level carpentry including framing, finish work, trim, and custom details Read and execute plans with accuracy and efficiency Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Solve problems in the field while maintaining high standards Help mentor and guide other less seasoned carpenters who are serious about the trade What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of residential carpentry experience, particularly in high-end custom work Excellent finish carpentry skills Ability to read plans and think ahead on site Strong emphasis on quality, precision, and doing things the right way Exceptional work ethic Genuine pride in the craft Oceanside Builders is a residential construction, remodeling, and property management firm focused on delivering high-quality custom homes in demanding coastal environments.
