SKILLS REQUIRED

Primary (Must-Have):

✔️8+ years of dedicated experience in PLM system support, administration, or engineering.

✔️Elite expertise in the Dassault Systèmes 3DX PLM platform, including advanced command of MQL (Matrix Query Language).

✔️Deep structural knowledge of ENOVIA modules, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Change Management, and Product Structure.

✔️Hands-on experience troubleshooting CATIA / CAD Collaboration tools, workspace configurations, and design integration pipelines.

✔️Proven background managing L1/L2 Support Operations, ticket triage (P1–P4 prioritization), and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools like ServiceNow or JIRA.

Secondary (Good to Have):

✔️Familiarity with DELMIA manufacturing/process planning workflows.

✔️Strong troubleshooting skills for multi-CAD integrations (CATIA V5/V6, NX, SolidWorks) and enterprise downstream integrations (e.g., SAP/ERP systems).

✔️Experience assisting with system health checks, performance tuning, and multi-environment patch deployments (DEV, QA, PROD).

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned 8+ year Senior 3DX PLM Support Engineer for a high-impact, fully onsite contract position based out of Dearborn, MI. Sitting within the core manufacturing and engineering systems division, the successful candidate will own Level 1 and Level 2 support operations for the enterprise 3DX PLM environment. This technical architect will ensure minimal system downtime, orchestrate stable CAD and ERP integrations, manage user lifecycles, and directly interface with automotive engineering teams to drive business continuity across global operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️L1 / L2 Support Operations: Drive rapid incident resolution and service requests within strict SLA timelines, performing accurate ticket triage and prioritization (P1–P4) via ServiceNow/JIRA.

✔️Troubleshooting & Technical Analysis: Diagnose and resolve platform runtime issues spanning ENOVIA modules, user access roles, lifecycle permissions, data inconsistencies, and write MQL scripts to execute database queries and fixes.

✔️3DX Module & Functional Governance: Support core workflows across ENOVIA (BOM management, product structure) and CATIA environments to ensure pristine data governance and CAD workspace continuity.

✔️System & CAD Integrations: Troubleshoot critical CAD data exchange links (CATIA V5/V6, NX, SolidWorks) along with PLM-to-ERP (SAP) data synchronization, managing failures around BOM transfers and file check-in/check-out loops.

✔️Environment Maintenance: Actively monitor infrastructure system logs and performance metrics to proactively flag anomalies, supporting L3 release teams through environment maintenance, system health checks, and patch deployments.

✔️Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the technical point-of-contact for business users, global engineering units, and internal IT squads while offering direct end-user application training and standard operating documentation.
