JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a motivated individual to safely transport material from a clients' location to an assigned/approved destination for processing or disposal. Individual will perform necessary tasks to load and unload material utilizing commercial trucks and/or heavy/agricultural equipment in a timely manner. May include tankers and end dump trailers in an off road environment. Comply with all DOT, state, local and in-house regulations, procedures, and rules. Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on the truck/equipment. Clean bio-solids off truck/equipment before leaving the field site or landfill. Complete daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD. Operate truck/equipment while maintaining Synagro's high level of safety standards. Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup. Daily communication with the Operations Manager. Travel throughout the Upper Midwest - Monday through Friday - home on weekends! Premium pay based on experience. Hotel/travel expenses paid by the company.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
1. Ability to backup truck/equipment

1. Ability to work varying shifts, overtime hours and/or weekend duties, including overnight stay, and travel
2. Communication skills - verbal and written
3. Ability to operate truck/equipment in a safe manner
4. Ability to memorize routes
5. Ability to understand and carryout instructions
6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public
   EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES
   1. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
   2. Valid Commercial Drivers' License (CDL) class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred but not required
   3. Minimum 3 years roll-off experience preferred
   4. Safe driving record: No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Sitting, Talking, Hearing, Seeing, Visual, Pulling, Pushing, Grasping, Stooping, Crawling, Kneeling, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Feeling, and Lifting up to 75 lbs
2. The worker is subject to varying weather conditions, activities occur inside and outdoors.
3. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: Fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.

1. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to bio-solids.

Hourly Rate $25-$27, based on experience.
