Radiology Technologist / CT Technologist

$28.00 – $35.00/hour + on-call pay. Relocation assistance up to $5,000 (3-year commitment). Position Summary The Radiology/CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and long-term care settings. This role includes X‑ray, CT, and basic cardiac diagnostics while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high‑quality imaging standards. Perform X-ray, CT, EKGs, stress testing, and Holter monitor setup Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures Coordinate advanced imaging services (MRI, Ultrasound, etc.) Document procedures in EHR, PACS, and RIS systems Maintain safety, infection control, and radiation standards Communicate effectively with providers and care teams Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment Participate in on‑call coverage rotation Additional Duties Attend staff meetings, trainings, and continuing education Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards Support team operations and workflow as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Strong knowledge of radiology and CT imaging procedures Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively Strong communication and patient interaction skills Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Experience Preferred Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience Rural or critical access hospital experience preferred Education and Certification Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT Certification (R) – Required ARRT Certification (CT) – Required BLS Certification – Required Additional modality certifications preferred Physical Requirements Standing, walking, reaching regularly Occasional bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling Ability to assist patients with mobility and transfers This position works in a clinical imaging environment with potential exposure to radiation, biohazards, chemicals, and moving equipment. Work may include variable shifts, on‑call responsibilities, and emergency situations.
