Job Overview A law firm seeks a Patent Associate in Boston, MA, with 1-4 years of patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in fields such as cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health. Advanced degrees are required, and prior patent agent experience is preferred. Duties Conduct patent prosecution and counseling. Collaborate with clients in the life sciences sector. Draft and file patent applications. Provide strategic advice on patent portfolios. Requirements 1-4 years of patent prosecution experience. Patent bar membership. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Superior academic credentials. Education Advanced degree in relevant field. Certifications Patent bar membership. Skills Expertise in life sciences disciplines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills.
