As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.72 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and alarm or surveillance systems as assigned; report irregularities and follow site procedures for access verification. Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken. Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
