Pay Range $20 to $32 per hour Qualifications Minimum 2–5 years of experience in commercial low voltage installation Proven experience with fire alarm systems (installation, troubleshooting, inspections) Knowledge of NFPA 72 , NEC , and local building codes Experience with fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Simplex, EST, or similar (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test low voltage wiring systems, including: Fire alarm systems Data/communication cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic) Access control systems CCTV and security systems Install and service fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes Perform system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm panels and devices Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Program and configure fire alarm and low voltage systems (if applicable) Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with NEC and local regulations Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and inspections Respond to service calls and emergency repairs as needed Position Number 27625 Quality Labor Management (QLM) provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, transgender status or sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
