rEvolution is seeking an Associate Strategy Director to join our growing marketing agency. In this role, reporting to the VP, Strategy, you will work to elevate and sharpen our strategic efforts for a major pharmaceutical brand with a growing sports portfolio, as well as other clients and new opportunities. In all assignments, you will work across the agency to deliver innovative, thoughtful, and breakthrough strategic marketing, sponsorship activations, and brand partnerships—all to drive growth, opportunity, and acclaim for our clients and partners.

You Will:

• Join a team of dedicated strategists with the freedom to introduce new thinking, challenge the norms, evolve the process, and elevate agency work as both a supportive team mentor and effective hands-on teammate
• Become a dedicated Strategist on select clients and projects, working closely with Creative and Account Directors to deliver integrated marketing plans, strategic brand work, and thoughtful, targeted agency execution
• Keep a pulse on cultural trends and novel brand approaches to draw out insights that inspire our client work and internal agency initiatives alike
• Harness data to develop insightful and actionable briefs, recommendations, and RFP responses
• Become an active collaborator with our Analytics & Insights and Research teams to mine data for strategic and creative inspiration
• Proactively identify opportunities for creative exploration, providing frameworks and insights to strengthen proposed concepts
• Develop decks and content for large-scale pitches, presentations, and workshops across various clients and new business opportunities
• Proactively voice agency challenges and opportunities to evolve our strategic thinking and process
• Maintain a working knowledge of rEvolution services and client work to identify opportunities for the agency

You Have:

• 7-10 years of experience working as a Strategist at a creative marketing agency with a proven track record guiding strategic thinking for brands, sponsorships, partnerships, and activations
• A bachelor’s degree
• Expertise in sponsorships and partnership marketing – experience in golf and PGA is a plus
• Interest and enthusiasm for golf specifically, as well as sports, fandom, events, and pop culture
• Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, is preferred, but not essential
• Expertise in the agency RFP, briefing, and pitch process
  
• An open mind, the ability to think conceptually, and a collaborative approach to work

This hybrid role is based in our fabulous Chicago office, but has a global reach

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100-115K, and is eligible for an annual, discretionary bonus.
