Patient Care TechnicianUSPI Texas Orthopedics Surgery Center in Austin is seeking a motivated Full-Time Patient Care Tech to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 1 Procedure room. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.Job Summary: The Patient Care Tech provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
