Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions at scheduled intervals, ensuring evidence-based practices are utilized to optimize patient outcomes. \n
- Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to understand each patient’s unique circumstances and treatment needs. \n
- Collaborate with patients to establish and review personalized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic goals. \n
- Develop tailored aftercare and discharge plans to support patients transitioning out of treatment. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all counsel sessions and assessments to comply with clinical standards and regulations. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations and feedback sessions to improve service delivery and patient care. \n
- Perform additional related duties as directed by your supervisor to enhance clinical operations and patient support. \n
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse demographic of patients, including adults, children, and families facing various challenges. Our patients often deal with complex co-occurring disorders, including substance use issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required. \n
- Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of New York. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive therapeutic relationships with patients. \n
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. \n
- A demonstrated commitment to a positive, non-judgmental approach in engaging with clients. \n

- Experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a significant advantage. \n
- Familiarity with addiction counseling methodologies and evidence-based treatment practices enhances candidacy. \n
