Apply today! \n \n Work type: Full time. \n Job Location: Wilmington, NC \n Benefits: \n \n Company matched 401K \n Health \n Dental \n Vision \n Vol Life \n LTD \n Paid Holidays \n PTO \n Free Basic Life and short-term disability. \n\n Reports to: The Electrical Mechanic will report to Electrical Foreperson \n \n Responsibilities and Duties \n \n Experience, bending, threading and installing electrical conduit to include MC, EMT and ridged raceways \n Properly and efficiently set up for wire install, pulling wire and operating wire tuggers \n Capable of terminating panels, setting fixtures, installing devices, installing cable try \n Must be well organized, able to work efficiently and demonstrate good time management skills \n Ensure special equipment needs are communicated to the foreman \n Interpret and understand job drawings to facilitate install of electrical system \n Ability to establish material list and ensure material needs are communicated to the foreman \n ability to achieve the weekly benchmark objectives established by the foreman \n maintain familiarity with the plans, schedule and expectations for job based upon directives of foreman \n Ensure safe work practices and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel \n Utilize all assigned PPE as appropriate for the hazards encountered \n Maintain a positive work environment which promotes a culture of safety and open communication \n Maintain a personal tool cache including hand tools, drill, drivers and all necessary attachments \n\n Qualifications \n \n Minimum of 4 years' experience completing project installation of electrical systems in the commercial electrical industry. \n Experience working in the field completing assigned tasks and functions. \n Experience with trade inspections, dealing with various jurisdictions and inspectors are all areas which will benefit from experience. \n Associated trade certifications are beneficial but are not required for this position. \n\n \n Physical and Environmental Requirements: \n \n Should be able to sit, bend, stoop and lift items which occasionally exceed 50 pounds. \n Be able to climb, crawl and squat as the job demands. \n The work environment is outdoors in all types of weather to include extreme heat and cold. \n The individual is exposed to extreme conditions of a construction site such as loud noise, dusty environments, moving mechanical equipment, and vibration of mechanical equipment. \n\n \n R.D.
