AmeriStaff Employment & Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assembler in the South Boston, VA area. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools to assemble products and components according to specifications. Candidates with the ability to read building prints are highly preferred.

• Assemble products and components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize hand and power tools, including saws and drills, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks and adjustments as needed.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret building prints and drawings (preferred).

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Experience operating hand and power tools such as saws and drills.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to read and interpret building prints and drawings is highly preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
