Warehouse Receiving Associate
The Warehouse Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments. This role ensures that all inbound products are accurately counted, documented, and stored in the proper locations, maintaining the integrity of inventory and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Inspect goods for damage, discrepancies, or missing items and report findings.
- Verify packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Label and sort items by destination or product type.
- Enter data into inventory systems or warehouse management software (WMS).
- Stock shelves, bins, or pallets in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet daily goals.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
