Position: Contract RN - Level 3-4 NICU

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

On Call Requirements: No

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Unit Information

This position is located in a Level 3-4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Below are key details regarding the unit:

• Location: North Austin, TX
• Number of Beds: 97
• Staffing: Approximately 200 staff members
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 patients per RN
• Typical Staff on Night Shift: Primarily RNs and 1 clerk

Equipment and Technology

The unit is equipped with advanced medical technology, including:

• Medfusion pumps
• Alaris systems
• Giraffe incubators
• GE monitors

Electronic Medical Records (EMR): CPN, Meditech

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience
• Active BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a first-time traveler
