Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Manager/ Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team. As the Senior Manager/ Director of Financial Planning & Analysis you will be responsible for developing and managing annual operating and capital plan, financial forecasting, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting, and a deep understanding of budgeting processes and financial modeling. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $225,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, execution, and management of the annual Operating and Capital planning process, aligning with organizational and financial objectives.
• Direct weekly cash flow projections and provide guidance to department budget managers on setting realistic and achievable goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and offer actionable recommendations.
• Conduct detailed financial analyses, including forecasting and modeling, to support business decisions and develop future performance strategies.
• Monitor and report on key financial performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited university; an MBA from a top business school is highly preferred.
• Minimum 4-5+ years of FP&A experience in a Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods company with proven contributions.
• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting using advanced functionality.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems like Oracle, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics for data extraction and reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong project management skills with experience handling multiple initiatives.

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train FP&A team members, ensuring career development and task efficiency.
• Experience coordinating compliance with credit agreements and GAAP while driving process enhancements.
