Description of Work The primary purpose of the Night Nurse Manager is to administratively and clinically supervise the clinical operations for the Walter B. Jones Center (WBJ) under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. This position is delegated with significant managerial or programmatic responsibility that is essential to the successful operation of WBJ. The Night Nurse Manager has the responsibility of managing, supervising, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating evening services provided by WBJ Center in order to assure the quality of care delivered throughout the hospital. This position also serves as the Triage Nurse. Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Management Preferences Recruitment Range: $69,027.00 - $113,896.00 A Sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval. Knowledge of management and supervisory methods, practices and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of healthcare staff. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, techniques, and practices. Ability to actively seek to coach and mentor staff. Per G.S. 126-5(c1) (37), this position is Exempt from all provisions of NC General Statute Chapter 126 (State Human Resources Act) with the exception of Articles 6 and 7. Shift Premiums for 12-Hour Shifts Evenings/Night (6:45pm - 7:15am): Monday - Friday 20% , Saturday and Sunday 30% Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part‑time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate. About the Facility The Walter B. Jones Center operates two adult inpatient treatment programs on site in Greenville, NC: (1) Woodside Treatment Center and (2) Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital. The primary purpose and mission of the Walter B. Jones Center is “To provide inpatient treatment, psychiatric stabilization and medical detoxification for individuals with mental health, substance use and other co‑occurring psychiatric diagnoses for ongoing community based treatment and recovery”. The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and SAMHSA/CSAT. Two specialty programs are offered to all 100 NC Counties: (1) Inpatient Opioid Treatment for adults and (2) Inpatient Perinatal Services for women in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters with substance use disorders. Minimum Education and Experience Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of nursing experience.
