About the Role
The Company is in search of an Interim Senior Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert and commercial legal advice across all aspects of the business. This includes working on a variety of contracts with clients, suppliers, and the insurance market, as well as industry-specific materials. The role also involves the analysis of new and changing laws and regulations, identifying liability exposure, and providing solutions to manage and reduce risk. The Interim Senior Counsel will be expected to manage outside counsel, supervise and develop junior team members, and act as a liaison between the legal team and the rest of the corporate group. Applicants for the Interim Senior Counsel position at the company should be proactive, highly organized, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment. The role requires the ability to work autonomously, meet multiple deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail with excellent writing and communication skills. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a background in law, with a focus on commercial and corporate legal matters, and be adept at drafting and editing legal documents concisely.
