What You'll Do
As a CNC Mill Machinist, you'll play a critical role in manufacturing precision components that meet strict engineering and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate multiple CNC milling machines to meet production goals
- Perform machine setup changes, tooling replacements, offset adjustments, and basic program modifications
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
- Verify parts meet engineering specifications and GD&T requirements
- Maintain complete production and traceability documentation
- Replace tooling and inserts to ensure optimal machine performance
- Monitor quality and identify issues before they impact production
- Support ISO 9000 quality management system requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience operating CNC milling equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T principles
- Experience with machine setups, tooling changes, and offsets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in ISO 9000 environments
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment
- Experience producing precision-machined components
- Ability to manage multiple machines simultaneously
- Strong production documentation and traceability experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
