Machine Operator – Direct Hire Location: West Chester, PA Pay: $23.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience) Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule (2-2-3 rotation; includes every other weekend) We are hiring a skilled Direct Hire Machine Operator for a high-quality manufacturing environment in West Chester, PA. This is a permanent position with the company from day one. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machine operation experience in a production setting and a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Perform machine setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers to standard. Complete assembly, loading, in-process checks (IPCs), and packing activities. Replenish materials and follow production schedules. Perform routine troubleshooting and jam clearance. Execute CIL (clean, inspect, lubricate) and preventive maintenance tasks. Accurately record production data in tracking systems. Identify defects, losses, and inefficiencies; support corrective actions. Participate in Lean manufacturing practices (5S, TPM, OEE). Support shift handovers, planned stops, and daily production meetings. Assist in onboarding and training new team members as needed. Escalate operational or quality issues in a timely manner. Maintain strict compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and safety standards. What Were Looking For Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment required. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, OEE, or similar systems strongly preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-driven production environment. Strong attention to detail and accountability for output quality. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods, including 12-hour shifts. Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
