Position Information Position Title: Stromberg Complex Marketing Manager Requisition Number: H02033P Position Category: Hourly/Work Study Campus Location: Weber State University - Ogden, UT Hours per week: 20 Months per year: 12 Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00 Job Summary / Basic Function The Stromberg Complex Marketing Manager assists the Facility Manager, Aquatics Coordinator, and Gym Operations and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator with various management tasks including, but not limited to: Creating and posting advertising for programs, events, and general building announcements Managing bulletin board postings in the Stromberg Complex Creating engaging social media posts and collaborating with building stakeholders such as Athletics and Campus Recreation Assisting with event tabling at events such as Block Party (may require travel to Davis Campus) Leading and mentoring staff and serving as a role model for safe practices for all Stromberg Complex hourly staff Completing a minimum of 5 hours of office work per week supplemented with other shifts as needed This position reports to the Stromberg Complex Facility Manager. Required Qualifications Must be a current Weber State student. Experience creating print and digital marketing materials or managing a social media account. Strong written and oral communication skills are preferred. Physical Activity Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, etc., using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Agility is emphasized. Important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion, maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling. Operating, inspecting, placing, detecting, or positioning. Expressing or exchanging ideas, receiving detailed information. Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers. Physical Requirements Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Visual acuity for color, depth perception, and field of vision required for operating computers, analyzing data, transcribing, operating machines, and controlling motor vehicles or heavy equipment. Visual acuity is also required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work. Conditions the worker will be subject to Worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather is not guaranteed; may experience temperature changes. Activities occur both indoors and outdoors.
