Registered Nurse - Respiratory Unit

Location: Bradenton, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: This role follows a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Respiratory Unit. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in critical care, demonstrating strong patient assessment skills and the ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the respiratory unit.
• Utilize and operate respiratory care equipment such as Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP or STABLE certification is necessary.
• Preferred ICU experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is advantageous.
