Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role will place you in a dynamic Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) and require adaptability to various patient needs and diagnoses, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Provide expert care for patients with common neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses
• Operate specialized equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, and Bipaps
• Work collaboratively with respiratory therapists for chronic ventilation management
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in a 64-bed unit
• Float across units as required

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Active NY RN License verified through NURSYS report
• Competent with EPIC electronic medical records
