Senior Electrical Engineer

Staff Electrical Engineer, Medical Device Join Philips and help advance the future of patient care through innovative medical device development . We are seeking an experienced Staff Electrical Engineer to support the DigiPIM PDLM team, with a focus on Design Verification & Validation (DV&V) for next-generation medical technologies. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a highly regulated environment and enjoys solving complex system-level challenges across hardware and integrated technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead design verification and validation activities for advanced medical device systems. Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and procedures to verify product performance and compliance. Analyze complex engineering requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues across multidisciplinary teams. Author and maintain technical documentation, including test reports, design specifications, and validation records. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and internal development processes. Collaborate with suppliers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support product development objectives. Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years with a Master's degree. Experience in system architecture, system design, hardware engineering, or medical device product development. Strong background in verification and validation testing, technical documentation, and root-cause problem solving. Ability to work effectively in a regulated product development environment.
