Team members join a mission-driven environment that aims to create lasting impact, one property at a time. Role Description This full-time, on-site Loan Officer role is based in Houston, TX. The Loan Officer will meet with real estate investors and developers to understand project goals, recommend appropriate loan products, and guide applicants through the end-to-end loan process. Daily responsibilities include originating new loans, gathering and reviewing financial documentation, coordinating with underwriting, and ensuring files are complete and compliant. The role involves evaluating borrower creditworthiness, structuring loan terms within company guidelines, and maintaining accurate records in Quick Lending’s systems. The Loan Officer will also provide ongoing customer service, respond to inquiries, nurture long-term client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to support timely closings and portfolio quality. Qualifications Candidates should possess experience in loan officer roles, with a solid understanding of lending practices and real estate investment financing. Candidates should possess finance-related skills, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and familiarity with loan products and capital structures. Candidates should possess underwriting-related skills, such as evaluating credit profiles, reviewing borrower documentation, and assessing collateral and project viability. Candidates should possess strong customer service capabilities, including clear communication, relationship building, and the ability to manage client expectations professionally. Candidates should possess loan origination skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing transactions in a fast-paced environment. Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of real estate markets, proficiency with lending or CRM software, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
