Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Boca Raton, Florida | Full-Time | Outpatient and Hospital Care MyCardiologist is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its cardiovascular team in Boca Raton. For more than 60 years, the practice has provided comprehensive cardiology care to patients throughout South Florida. This position is primarily outpatient and includes hospital rounding with the physician team. Candidates must have prior APP experience in cardiology or a transferable specialty such as hospital medicine, internal medicine, critical care, or another relevant acute care setting. Position Highlights Full-time cardiology opportunity Monday–Friday daytime schedule Primarily outpatient care with hospital rounding Shared weekend coverage approximately once per month Established cardiovascular patient population Collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs Opportunity to expand existing cardiovascular expertise Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions Conduct follow-up visits and provide ongoing cardiac care Create and manage individualized treatment plans Order and review laboratory studies, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing Manage medications and monitor patient response Participate in hospital rounding and care coordination Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff Qualifications Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active, unrestricted Florida license Acute care certification required Previous APP experience in cardiology or a relevant transferable specialty required Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Collaborative and patient-centered approach to care Compensation and Benefits Competitive base compensation Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Professional development and growth opportunities Resources and support through the CVAUSA and Novocardia network About MyCardiologist MyCardiologist is an established, physician-led cardiovascular practice with more than six decades of experience serving South Florida.
