Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology (GI APP)

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Seattle area is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology (GI APP) to join its growing specialty team. The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Position Overview:

Provide outpatient gastroenterology care, including evaluation and management of GI conditions

Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and GI bleeding

Perform patient consultations, follow-ups, and preventive screenings

Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists on treatment plans and care coordination

Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy)

Educate patients on diet, medications, and lifestyle modifications

Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Qualifications:

Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Active or eligible for Washington State licensure

Active/eligible DEA registration

Prior experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred

Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
