Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a weekend-only NICU position. This role involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level IV NICU setting with a focus on weekend shifts and occasional float coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality neonatal care to critically ill infants in a Level IV NICU environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform clinical assessments.
• Document care accurately in EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Float to other departments and sister campuses as needed to ensure consistent patient support.
• Comply with all travel and certification requirements, including timely submission of documentation.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid license in hand for RN practice.
• Minimum of 2 years recent NICU experience in a Level IV setting.
• Demonstrate EPIC EMR proficiency and recent travel experience.
• Hold PALS certification (AHA only); BLS and NRP preferred.
• Be willing to work every weekend and one weekday shift.
• Successfully complete required skill tests and compliance documentation within designated timeframes.
