Senior Advisory Accountant (Hybrid) - SEC and Write-up Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year. Permanent, hybrid position (2-3 days on site, home on Mondays and Fridays). Locations: Allentown, PA; Louisville, KY; Providence, RI. Job Overview We are seeking a seasoned Advisory Accountant to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The role involves preparing and filing SEC documents such as 10-Q, 10-K, and other reports, and supporting internal and external audit processes. Benefits Top tier benefits Good vacation / time off package 401(k) with match HSA match Hybrid work arrangement 10-20% bonus Opportunities for growth Responsibilities Prepare and file quarterly and annual reports (10-Q, 10-K) with the SEC, including drafting and reviewing financial statements, footnotes, and Management's Discussion and Analysis. Assist with the monthly consolidation process and preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnotes. Conduct technical accounting research on various topics to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations during audits and reviews. Stay abreast of new SEC and GAAP reporting requirements and update the reporting process as needed. Assist in special projects such as process improvements, system implementations, and other initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting or public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 firm. Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Experience with financial consolidations and preparing 10-Q, 10-K, and other SEC filings. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Detail-oriented with high accuracy and ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
