Job Overview Position: Senior Group Manager, Finance Location: Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America Hours: 40 per week Pay Range: $115,440 – $173,160 USD (subject to candidate qualifications and business needs) Line of Business: Finance Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Business Finance professionals, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and compensation decisions. Oversee financial analysis, insights, decision support, and reporting for key business segments or a substantial portion of the organization. Provide strategic financial perspective with deep understanding of shareholder value and business needs. Integrate finance support across multiple business lines and manage long‑range, complex, confidential financial issues. Act as the primary financial advisor to business leaders on performance measures, objectives, and financial goals. Lead program design, policy formulation, and operating standards that align with enterprise strategy. Anticipate emerging business trends, regulatory changes, and risk issues, recommending large‑scale operational improvements. Maintain strong relationships with internal Finance partners, external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders. Serve as subject‑matter expert, leading practice resources and providing guidance on intra‑ and inter‑company finance matters. Contribute to due diligence, execution, and management of acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and restructuring initiatives. Develop and assess significant business cases or new initiatives, ensuring accounting, tax, forecasting, and risk criteria are met. Coordinate client requests for finance support and reporting, balancing partner needs with overall Finance capabilities. Participate in internal and external committees, providing counsel and representing the organization’s interests. Plan, execute, and monitor the annual business plan, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and modeling performance against KPIs. Manage budget, revenue, and expenditures, driving efficiency and effectiveness while safeguarding operational controls. Identify and recommend actions to mitigate risks, support remediation plans, and comply with banking regulations and the Code of Conduct. Promote a culture of inclusive, performance‑driven teamwork, encouraging diversity of thought and continuous learning. Support colleague growth through coaching, feedback, and development planning aligned with career objectives. Qualifications Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Minimum 10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience. Preferred: Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or other recognized financial designation. Demonstrated people‑management experience, including hiring, performance management, and development. Proficiency in Hyperion Essbase and budgeting processes. Strong Excel skills (advanced functions and data modeling). Experience with wealth‑management or wealth‑services finance is a plus. Physical Requirements Perform sedentary work continuously.
