Join UnityPoint Health – UnityPoint at Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa as an Occupational Therapist (OT) delivering compassionate therapy services directly in patients’ homes. This permanent, full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to help patients regain independence, improve mobility, and enhance their quality of life. Schedule

• Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Perform home visits for patients requiring occupational therapy
• Complete functional assessments and evaluate patient abilities
• Develop and implement customized OT treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic activities, environmental modifications, and adaptive strategies
• Manage treatment modalities, prosthetic devices, and therapeutic equipment
• Educate patients and caregivers on improving daily function and safety
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

 

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (ACOTE/AOTA approved)
• Active Occupational Therapist license in Iowa
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with a similar patient population

 

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $37.82 – $56.74/hour (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
