Great Food Starts with Great Prep We're looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you'll be the foundation of a successful service. From preparing fresh ingredients to maintaining an organized kitchen, your work helps ensure every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities Follow prep lists and daily assignments provided by the culinary team Label, organize, and stock ingredients for easy access and efficiency Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications Wash, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, meats, and other ingredients Assist with basic cooking tasks such as preparing sauces, parboiling, and other food preparation duties Prepare simple menu items as directed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Properly store food and ingredients according to food safety standards Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Assist with additional kitchen duties as assigned Requirements Previous experience as a Prep Cook preferred Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures Ability to safely operate knives, cutting tools, and kitchen equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Ability to remain organized and productive in a fast-paced environment Excellent work ethic and willingness to learn Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks High school diploma or equivalent preferred Culinary school training is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive compensation Opportunities for growth and advancement Benefits offered to qualified team members A supportive, team-oriented kitchen culture Hands-on experience with talented culinary professionals The opportunity to build a long-term career in hospitality and culinary arts We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Mexicano
