OB/GYN Hospitalist (Per Diem)

Per Diem OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett, TX! Pediatrix Medical Group, in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center, offers a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist position to provide services to the suburban Dallas community. Enjoy flexibility while making a meaningful impact on women's health. Responsibilities OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, inpatient care, seeing unassigned patients and private call coverage, covering the OB floor, ER consults for GYN emergencies, surgical assists at cesarean sections, fetal monitoring and emergency response in labor and delivery. Shifts are 24 hours in house. Subspecialty coverage with: Collaborating with in‑house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU with 1,700 deliveries annually. Maternal‑fetal medicine specialists available for high‑risk pregnancies. Anesthesiology services in-house, 24/7. Qualifications Active TX license or active IMLC preferred. Board Certification in OB/GYN with recent clinical experience required. Compensation and Benefits Pediatrix covers travel expenses (round‑trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those residing outside a commutable distance and covers malpractice insurance for this W‑2 per diem position.
