Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to a diverse clientele comprising individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client confidentiality is upheld.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients, integrating various therapeutic approaches and resources as needed.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development workshops to stay up-to-date with current mental health trends, interventions, and best practices.

• Facilitate workshops or support groups that foster community building and peer support among clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role involves providing mental health support to individuals and families facing a variety of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates with clinical experience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling and mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
