Marine Technician Mechanic

Job Description Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus depending upon skills, experience and certifications! The Marine Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of jet boats and personal watercraft, while following Company guidelines and procedures. Diagnose, repair and service jet boats and personal watercraft. Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications. Completes all routine maintenance. Troubleshoots problems with systems. Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor. Install new parts as needed. Performs repairs. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to: Create a safe work environment where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion and respect. Troubleshoot and diagnose root of problem. Identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders. Be highly professional, organized, and dependable. Work on a flexible schedule, including Saturday. Work in a fast‑paced environment, follow directions and meet goals. Maintain and uphold safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required. Formal training and certification in watercraft mechanics program highly preferred. Factory certified from Yamaha, Sea‑Doo, Kawasaki, Scarab highly preferred. Unrestricted valid Florida driver license. Clean driving record. Excellent work history. Excellent customer service skills. Meticulous attention to detail.
