Union Energy Storage Laborer Apprentice - Gabriel BESS

Overview Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer Apprentice that will be responsible for learning the trade while assisting with preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts. Responsibilities Load and unload equipment Erect and dismantle scaffolding (5X7X16) and staging Level ground for scaffolding Tend motor and grout Lift, unload, move, set, and shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows and buckets General cleanup and clearing of debris, including sweeping, cleaning, washing, and loading or burning of debris Place, push, pull, and shovel concrete Vibrate concrete Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels All other duties as assigned Qualifications Enrolled in Apprentice Aptitude Program Experience in construction preferred Ability to work with tools and equipment, such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills and jackhammers, forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail oriented; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs. Compensation The base pay range for this role is $24.74 - $42.06 per hour. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
