Key Responsibilities & Duties Purchase lumber and building materials to meet demand Maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory Monitor market trends to inform purchasing decisions Develop strong vendor relationships and negotiate terms Collaborate with sales and operations for accurate forecasting Track orders and ensure timely fulfillment Resolve issues with shortages or delivery discrepancies Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports Identify cost savings and process improvements Ensure compliance with purchasing policies Required Qualifications & Experience 2+ years in purchasing or inventory management Knowledge of lumber grades or construction supply chain Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Analytical and problem‑solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience in lumber yard or construction supply environment Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems Ability to anticipate demand proactively Strong business judgment and cost‑conscious mindset This opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
