Day Shift Forklift Operator

Job Location NEMC NORTH EAST MIX CENTER Warehouse Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Operators These operators are vital to the success of our business at P&G. As a technician, you will work on a team that is responsible for keeping site throughput flowing, meeting performance goals, and maintaining the high level of quality that consumers expect from our products. Responsibilities Deliver materials to or remove materials from making, packing, converting, or assembly operating areas. Deliver and remove finished product from a packing area to other areas in the warehouse. Receive orders required to load product on a truck for customer or distribution center shipment. Move material to a staging area for palletization or customization, and from manual pick stations which include individual cases or layers of finished product. Maintain accurate finished product inventory in a warehouse. Handle product that has been shipped to a customer and then returned to P&G. Act as a system owner or equipment owner for the area in which you operate. Operate and maintain equipment in your area. Order and schedule trucks, international shipment containers, and rail car deliveries to and from the plant. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 18 years of age or older. Strong commitment to safety at all times. Ability to work flexible hours and shifts as needed. Experience operating material handling equipment. Highly preferred: mechanical skills that contribute to the longevity and smooth operation of equipment, reducing downtime and enhancing overall productivity. Maintaining accurate records and data.
