Curriculum Coordinator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Supports the development of new programs and ensures alignment with accreditation, federal, state, and Texas A&M University System requirements. Works with divisions to update existing programs and courses. Takes the lead on notifications of program openings and closings. Tracks program modalities to ensure compliance with state and federal reporting. Coordinates substantive change documentation and reporting. Supports academic program review. Maintains compliance with reporting guidelines to ensure work assignments are being completed on time. Works with subject matter experts, divisional program staff, and instructional design staff to ensure course materials meet design standards. Serves as administrator for compliance and assessment software. Provides training as needed. Participates in professional development and university-required training. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) years of related experience. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of BLOOMS, instructional design models, and adult learning principles. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong written communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in relevant field of study. Demonstrated project management experience. Experience with educational technology. Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal educational policies/standards. Other Requirements Ability to travel and work beyond normal office hours. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Supervision of Personnel This position generally does not supervise employees.
