Policy Analyst/Technical Writer

Argo Cyber Systems is seeking a Policy Analyst / Technical Writer to support cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, and modernization activities in federal environments. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with technical teams, program leadership, and customer stakeholders to deliver high‑quality cybersecurity support in alignment with contract requirements and organizational standards. This role is contingent upon a successful contract bid win. Role and Responsibilities Draft, edit, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, plans, and technical documentation. Translate technical security controls and compliance requirements into clear written guidance and implementation language. Develop SSP content, SOPs, training materials, reports, white papers, and executive summaries. Coordinate review cycles with SMEs, program leadership, and customers to adjudicate comments and finalize deliverables. Maintain version control, formatting consistency, and document traceability across the program. Qualifications, Education and Skills Requirements U.S. Citizenship is required. Bachelor's degree with 2–4+ years in cyber policy writing, governance documentation, or technical writing. Experience writing policies/procedures and RMF‑related artifacts. Ability to synthesize technical, operational, and compliance information into polished deliverables. Additional Desires and Considerations 4–8 years in cyber policy writing, governance documentation, or technical writing. Experience with NIST 800‑53/800‑171/CMMC documentation. SharePoint or document control experience. Excellent editing and formatting skills. Experience assessing cloud, Zero Trust, and hybrid environments. Experience with system vulnerability assessments. Knowledge of computer programming and scripting languages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience. CompTIA Security+ or higher certification level preferred.
