As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced  Outbound Operations Manager to lead our warehouse fulfillment and shipping operations. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time while developing a high-performing warehouse team.

Position Summary

The Outbound Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all outbound warehouse activities, including order fulfillment, picking, packing, quality control, shipping, and transportation coordination. This role leads supervisors and warehouse associates to ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and customer service goals are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and has a proven track record of managing teams, driving operational improvements, and delivering exceptional service levels.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Fulfillment Operations

• Manage daily outbound warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, loading, and carrier dispatch.
• Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped within established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee fulfillment of e-commerce, marketplace, wholesale, and live-stream sales orders.
• Monitor order volume and adjust staffing and workflow as needed to meet demand.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and warehouse associates.
• Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented, and safety-focused work environment.

Performance Management

• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
• • Order accuracy
  • Orders shipped per labor hour
  • On-time shipment performance
  • Labor productivity
  • Shipping costs
  • Employee attendance and turnover
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service levels.

Process Improvement

• Analyze operational data and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve throughput and accuracy.
• Partner with leadership on warehouse optimization, technology improvements, and process standardization.
• Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives where applicable.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training.
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.

Transportation & Shipping

• Coordinate with parcel, LTL, and freight carriers to ensure timely outbound shipments.
• Monitor shipping costs and carrier performance.
• Assist with carrier negotiations and transportation planning during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership and warehouse operations management experience.
• Experience managing supervisors and warehouse associates in a distribution, fulfillment, or logistics environment.
• 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with shipping, fulfillment, inventory control, and transportation operations.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and motivate teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety best practices.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida
This is an on-site leadership position overseeing daily warehouse and fulfillment operations.
