The Everside Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote role allows for flexible working arrangements while providing essential mental health services to individuals facing a variety of challenges. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW), you will play a crucial role in evaluating clients' mental health conditions, developing personalized therapeutic plans, and guiding them towards recovery.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health statuses through interviews and standardized assessments. \n
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each client’s unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals. \n
- Schedule and conduct regular follow-up sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma. \n
- Provide clients with coping strategies and resources to facilitate their mental wellness journey, helping them navigate life’s challenges effectively. \n
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment outcomes. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with organizational policies and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to individuals dealing with substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, eating disorders, and trauma. You will need a strong understanding of cultural competencies to cater to a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, thereby enhancing the therapeutic alliance and treatment effectiveness.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). \n
- A minimum of four years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a proven track record of providing effective individual and group therapy. \n
- In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with relevant computer applications. \n
- A solid commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. \n

- Experience delivering culturally responsive therapy and working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams. \n
- Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online counseling methodologies. \n
