Job Title: Powder Coating Technician Job Description

Join our dynamic Powder Coating team responsible for preparing product surfaces for final coating and painting using a variety of tools before products move to final assembly. As a Powder Coating Technician, your goal will be to ensure complete and proper surface preparation, achieving coating coverage, thickness, and cure to meet manufacturing standards and specifications.

• Prepare product surfaces for final coating using various tools and machines.
• Apply powder coating to metal door and frame systems ensuring high quality.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet manufacturing standards.
• Ensure coating coverage, thickness, and cure are completed to specifications.
• Operate sand blasters and other equipment effectively.

• Experience in production and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in powder coating techniques.
• Ability to perform paint preparation tasks.
• Knowledge of sandblasting techniques.

• Experience with powder coating, production paint, and sandblasting is helpful.
• Ability to identify differences in color.

This position offers an introduction to a machining career, potentially serving as an entry-point to CNC machining. Enjoy paid holidays for contractors, access to an on-site gym, and a vanpool from nearby areas.

The work environment involves heavy-duty tasks with moderate to loud noise levels. Responsibilities may require standing, stooping, walking, twisting, bending, and lifting heavy objects up to 70 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. Production aids such as raised work platforms, lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts are available. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, hazardous materials, and humid conditions may occur. Work is conducted near moving mechanical parts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Snoqualmie, WA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
