Registered Nurse - OR

Role Overview Provides independent nursing care in a high-acuity clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of patient needs and managing complex situations. The nurse performs assessments, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluations, ensuring comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process to deliver routine and advanced care, including medication administration and monitoring for side-effects. Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Documents patient information accurately, including history, symptoms, medications, and treatments. Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to optimize patient outcomes. Adheres to established protocols and standards, aligning with professional nursing practices. Qualifications & Skills Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
