Schedule: Night Shift; Friday Sunday; 6:00 PM 6:30 AM; 3 12-Hour Shifts

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) for a 13-week contract in Washington, Iowa. The selected candidate will perform clinical laboratory testing, maintain quality standards, troubleshoot laboratory instruments, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct quality-control testing, document results, and address deviations from established standards.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and testing equipment.

• Evaluate test results, identify discrepancies, and document corrective actions as appropriate.

• Maintain laboratory records, monitor supplies, and support quality-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Technologist or clinical laboratory experience required.

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, a related science field, or equivalent qualifying education and experience required.

• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

• Knowledge of clinical laboratory testing, quality control, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures required.

• Ability to work independently in a regulated laboratory environment required; Epic and computerized documentation experience preferred.
