SPEECH PATHOLOGIST/THERAPIST - Full Time, Day

Responsibilities Responsible for diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic procedures for the treatment of disabled patients as prescribed by licensed physicians. Provides speech and language treatments. Position Description As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, the candidate will work in an acute hospital setting, diagnosing and treating swallow disorders, analyzing test results to determine patients' communicative abilities, and planning necessary therapy. Qualifications One year work experience in the acute hospital setting preferred. Experience diagnosing and treating swallow disorders. Analyzing test results and determining therapy needs. Master's Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution. License to practice speech pathology by the California State Board of Medical Examiners and Certificate of clinical competence (ASHA) or permissible under ASHA guidelines.
