Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Description Job Summary: MLT or MLS will support daily clinical laboratory operations by performing a variety of routine and specialized testing to ensure accurate patient results. This role covers Monday through Friday with potential night/weekend call coverage as needed. Responsibilities: Perform clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Verify patient specimens for proper collection, labeling, and acceptability prior to analysis. Document test results, corrective actions, and QC/QA outcomes accurately and timely. Monitor equipment performance and complete routine maintenance checks to support reliable operations. Troubleshoot analytical issues and escalate abnormalities to the appropriate lead or supervisor. Assist with instrument validation and workflow support to maintain compliance. Qualifications: Hold an active MLT or MLS credential (or equivalent) from an accredited program. Demonstrate proficiency in clinical laboratory testing and laboratory quality control practices. Maintain strong knowledge of specimen handling, processing, and laboratory safety standards. Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members to support continuity of care. Meet competency requirements for performing assigned test methods with accuracy and consistency.
