We are recruiting an Equipment Associate on behalf of the world's largest equipment rental organization, supporting the Louisville, KY market. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, dependable professional who thrives in an active environment, wants to run yard operations and is looking to build a long-term career with clear growth potential.

This is a full-time, shop and yard-based position where you will take ownership of inventory, manage the flow of equipment, operate a forklift and keep operations running smoothly every day.

• Pay: $20 $25/hour based on experience. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply we could request adjustments based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Yard & Shop Flow: Take full ownership of incoming and outgoing equipment, inventory counts, loading, unloading, receiving and dispatching.
• Inventory & Asset Tracking: Keep accurate track of specialized inventory, generator equipment and heavy-duty cabling.
• Forklift Operations: Safely operate forklifts to stage, load, and offload equipment (training/certification provided).
• Physical & Yard Support: Work primarily outdoors and in the shop, staging equipment for customer order readiness.
• Maintain Order & Safety: Keep the yard highly organized, secure and running efficiently to prevent operational bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• Character & Reliability: High degree of maturity, strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic to show up every day.
• Physical Capability: Ability to work outdoors/in the shop and lift up to 85 lbs comfortably.
• Equipment & Inventory Background: Prior experience in warehouse inventory, logistics, or yard management is a major plus (open to all experience levels with the right mindset).
• Forklift Experience: Experience operating a forklift is preferred but not required. The company is happy to help you get certified!
